NEA partners with MOM on Dengue Outreach to Foreign Domestic Workers in Singapore (06 Sept 2007)

Snapshots of the Dengue Prevention Book for Maids, an NEA & MOM joint effort

As part of NEA's nationwide outreach efforts on dengue, a new dengue prevention handbook for foreign domestic workers was developed in August 2007. In partnership with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the handbooks, presented in foreign languages, are being distributed to the 172,800 foreign domestic workers in Singapore starting from 31 August 2007.

Following the success in 2006, NEA and MOM once again join hands in engaging foreign domestic workers on the subject of dengue. Together with their employers, foreign domestic workers can play an instrumental role in sustaining the 10-Minute Mozzie Wipeout routine in homes.
